Is a plastic bed liner better than spray on bed liner?
I have a 2006 Toyota Tundra with a short bed. It currently has a hard plastic bed liner it. In my question I am wanting to know which is more durable, valuable, worth while, etc. Just for information reasons, I am looking to compare the hard plastic bed liner to Line-X spray on bed liner. Thanks.
Is it worth replacing the current new-like hard plastic liner with the Line-X spray on right now or should I wait until the current liner wares out?
***It's not really a necessity to replace it right away. If your tight on cash, then I'd wait a little. If you've got the money to spare, got for it now. If your going to wait, check once in a while to see how much moisture us under the liner.***
Spray on is MUCH better. The liners allow water to get underneath and condense which can and will cause rust.
With the spray on, there's nowhere for water to get in and keeps the metal on the bed dry (at least from the top).
