What are some ideas for making a hideous plastic utility shelf less hideous?
It is heavy-duty plastic, four shelves, about 5' tall. It is ugly! But I need it, and I can't afford something more stylish right now. I've thought about painting it. Do they make paint that sticks to plastic?
Forget the paint. Think about using contact paper. This paper is popular for lining shelves and wipes clean with a damp cloth. The back peels off and apply to a clean surface. This contact paper comes in rolls and can be found at discount stores and building supply centers in the paint dept. There are many designs to choose from.
