Would you pick a 2007 Ford Edge SEL Plus with 59k miles certified over a 2008 Ford Edge Limited with 69k?

I have heard that it is unwise to get a used car in the first year of production. A new Edge is out of my price range. Have found two cars that are around the same price. I have purchased certified used cars before but haven't found them to be any more or less reliable then regular used cars. The interest rate with my credit union will be better for the newer car (special rates from ford are only good for shorter number of years).

At least you can be confident that the certified Edge went through an inpection process and comes with a power train warranty which for very little cost you can upgrade to a bumper to bumper warranty backed by Ford.
