How to fix CD player in 2002 Ford Windstar?
I have a 2002 Ford Windstar SEL and about two months ago the CD player stopped working. I went to eject the CD and got "CD error" Is there anyway to get it working again without having to take it to a mechanic or ripping it out?
other than a pair of tweezers and hoping to yank at the cd... nope.... the motor that shoves the cd out is probably bad and you are out of luck.... 95% of mechanics won't even try messing with it to get the cds out (I'm the only one in my shop willing to even try it but there are a lot I don't do it to because of possible damage to get it out)
