Good Condition

Where can I find the state quarters in good condition?
My mom has been collecting ten of each state quarter since they started coming out, but recently their house was broken into and all her quarters were taken. I was wondering if there is anywhere I could go to find at least some of the state quarters (preferably in good condition) and replace them for her.
Would a bank have the quarters by state or do they just run as regular currency now?
The banks usually only have the new one, like now is the Hawaii. A lot can be found in change and rolls of the others do pop up. You will just have to look in your change and go through rolls of quarters from the banks. the only other way is to buy them from a coin dealer but that will cost you.

The Human Condition $13.58 When a long-running band loses its original singer of 30 years, it's something big. The Human Condition is Saga's first album without Michael Sadler in the front seat, so its release was met with anticipation. Fans should fear not: new singer Rob Moratti, drafted from the Toronto group Final Frontier, does a more than competent job, although liking or disliking him will depend on your attachment to Sadler and your willingness to accept change. Does he fit Saga's sound? Definitely. Is he a good singer? No doubt. Is he Sadler? No. Moratti has a medium-high hard rock voice (where Sadler's range was medium-low), and he likes to push it. The band has reacted to this new range and youthful energy with a harder-edged sound that pushes the guitars up front, and a newfound level of complexity in the songwriting, something that archs almost back to Generation 13. Fans will detect the subtler artistic changes, while more casual listeners will simply feel that Saga is rocking out more. Otherwise, The Human Condition is a typical Saga album, with a loose and self-explanatory unifying theme (speaking of "concept album" would be pushing it), some pretty strong and uplifting tracks, a couple of dreadful ones, the rest falling in between. The opening seven-minute title track is as close to epic prog rock as Saga ever got. It has powerful riffs, a good melody, and inventive arrangements, all tied down by the square-as-ever rhythm section, the one element that keeps reminding you that Saga is an arena rock band, not a prog rock one. "A Number with a Name" and "Crown of Thorns" are other highlights, two tracks with better, sharper writing than anything found on Trust or Network. Sadly, these strong moments are counterbalanced by clunkers like "Now Is Now" and the closing "You Look Good to Me," terribly insignificant. Overall though, The Human Condition displays a band in sound shape, a band reacting healthily to what constitutes a major change. ~ François Couture, Rovi Performers: Brian Doerner - Drums; Ian Crichton - Guitar; Jim Crichton - Bass, Keyboards; Jim Gilmour - Vocals, Keyboards |

Condition Critical $5.58 Condition Critical, Quiet Riot's follow-up to their number one, multi-million-selling commercial breakthrough Metal Health, is nearly identical to its predecessor. Not only do they repeat the hard-driving pop-metal hybrid to the last detail, they even throw in another Slade cover. Like on Metal Health, the Slade cover on Condition Critical ("Mama Weer All Crazee Now") is the finest moment on the record -- it's the only time the riffs have a solid hook and the melody is memorable. However, the rest of the record is well produced and sounds good, even if the quality of the songs is somewhat poor. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, Rovi Performers: Chuck Wright - Vocals (Background); Randy Bishop - Vocals (Background); Carlos Cavazo - Vocals (Background), Guitar; Frankie Banali - Drums, Percussion; Kevin DuBrow - Vocals (Background), Vocals; Pat Regan - Keyboards; Rudy Sarzo - Guitar (Bass) |

The Inhuman Condition $11.89 Released to little fanfare, this six-track EP was originally intended to ease Montreal native Sam Roberts into the lower echelon of Canadian rock acts, but tremendous public response to lead single "Brother Down" and its equally successful follow-up, "Don't Walk Away Eileen," instead conspired to turn The Inhuman Condition into a surprise commercial smash. Built around a circular acoustic guitar riff, rolling bassline, and summery clap track, the former instantly recalled an upbeat Jane's Addiction at the peak of their powers; with its kick-started guitars and rolling refrain, the latter demonstrated Roberts' knack for marrying potent and melodic hooks with breezy rock. As with the other four songs on the EP (of which the vaguely baggy "Where Have All the Good People Gone?" and the three-minute pogo of "This Is How I Live" stand out as highlights), there's also a refreshing air of unpretentiousness to these recordings; that Roberts is still able to hold the ear of the indie scene that spawned him in the face of his ubiquitous presence on mainstream Canadian media says volumes about his everyman likeability. ~ Mark Pytlik, Rovi Performers: Andrew Rodriguez - Echo, E-Bow; Jordon Zadorozny - Bass, Percussion, Drums; Sam Roberts - Voices, Keyboards, Bass, Guitar |

Human Condition $8.78 Canned Heat lived on the wild side while enjoying immense popularity, primarily during the early to late '70s. This production marks vocalist Bob "The Bear" Hite's last complete recording with the band due to his passing on April 5, 1981. Recorded in 1977 and released in 1978, this set features guest appearances by blues-rock guitarist Harvey Mandel and backing vocals by the Chambers Brothers on selected tracks. Essentially, this affair features a fairly typical exposition of what many listeners would come to expect, as the group works its way through a series of high-octane blues, rock, and boogie motifs. Hite was in good form throughout while also displaying potent chops as a viable blues harpist whereas guitarists Mark Skyer, Chris Morgan, and Mandel implement raucous crunch chords amid some scathing lead lines. Hence, this effort represents a hearty snapshot of the quintet's overall appeal. There are some memorable tracks here, although this offering didn't garner widespread recognition upon its initial release. ~ Glenn Astarita, Rovi Performers: Bob "The Bear" Hite - Harmonica, Vocals; Adolfo de la Parra - Drums; Chris Morgan - Guitar; Harvey Mandel - Guitar; Mark Skyer - Vocals, Guitar; Richard Hite - Bass |

Too Long in This Condition $17.58 Alasdair Roberts’ sixth proper album, an 11-track, upper level course on contemporary and traditional Scottish balladry, begins with a tale that concerns a cheating wife being escorted to Hell by Satan himself on his own ghost ship. "Daemon Lover” may sound like a downer, but Roberts’ sprightly guitar work and amiable delivery make it sound more like a campfire ghost story than a cautionary tale of the pitfalls of adultery. Too Long in This Condition differs little from the singer/songwriter’s previous outings, which is good news for anyone who has followed his rise from Will Oldham-esque, U.K. folk oddity under the moniker Appendix Out to one of most respected, modern practitioners of the English/Scottish/Irish/Welsh folk tradition. His renditions of classics like “Long Lankin,” “Little Sir Hugh,” “The Golden Vanity,” and “Barbara Allen” are just loose enough to retain their authenticity, and well-honed enough to earn the abbreviated guitar tablature (complete with capo locations) that accompanies them in the liner notes. Nic Jones, Archie Fisher, and Dick Gaughan may have blazed his trail, but it’s Roberts who’s leading the way now. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi |

Exhibit B: The Human Condition $12.78 You can always count on Exodus to supply some good, old-fashioned, downright vicious thrash metal with each release. And the lads deliver once more on their 2010 offering, Exhibit B: The Human Condition (impressively, their fourth album over a six-year period -- 2004-2010). As with the past few Exodus releases, guitarist Gary Holt and drummer Tom Hunting are the sole original members left in attendance. But this certainly doesn't prevent the group from offering up an absolutely brutal slab of thrash metal -- with the intensity not dipping one iota from beginning to end. And according to Holt, Exhibit B is a bit of a concept album, as the lyrics deal with such warm and fuzzy topics as "cruelty, ignorance, inhumanity, and brutality." Either way, the heavy duty topics certainly fit in well with the fast and furious riffing and vocal roars (the latter courtesy of Rob Dukes) -- as evidenced on such headbanging ragers as the album opener, "The Ballad of Leonard and Charles," as well as "Class Dismissed (A Hate Primer)" and "March of the Sycophants." Even with the tunes that momentarily take a breather ("Democide," "A Perpetual State of Indifference," etc.), it's only a matter of time until Exodus rams down the gas pedal once again and returns to their chug-a-lug riffery. Exodus has always liked it fast and furious, and they certainly don't disappoint with Exhibit B: The Human Condition. ~ Greg Prato, Rovi Performers: Peter Tagatgren - Vocals (Background); Gary Holt - Guitar; Jack Gibson - Bass; Lee Altus - Guitar; Rob Dukes - Vocals; Tom Hunting - Drums |

The Condition $5.99 The Condition tells the story of the McKotches, a proper New England family that comes apart during one fateful summer. The year is 1976, and the family, Frank McKotch, an eminent scientist; his pedigreed wife, Paulette; and their three beautiful children has embarked on its annual vacation at the Captain's House, the grand old family retreat on Cape Cod. One day on the beach, Frank is struck by an image he cannot forget: his thirteen-year-old daughter, Gwen, strangely infantile in her child-sized bikini, standing a full head shorter than her younger cousin Charlotte. At that moment he knows a truth that he can never again unknown something is terribly wrong with his only daughter. The McKotch family will never be the same. Twenty years after Gwen's diagnosis with Turner's syndrome, a genetic condition that has prevented her from maturing, trapping her forever in the body of a child, all five family members are still dealing with the fallout. Each believes himself crippled by some secret pathology; each feels responsible for the family's demise. Frank and Paulette are acrimoniously divorced. Billy, the eldest son, is dutiful but distant, a handsome Manhattan cardiologist with a life built on compromise. His brother, Scott, awakens from a pot-addled adolescence to a soul-killing job, a regrettable marriage, and a vinyl-sided tract house in the suburbs. And Gwen is silent and emotionally aloof, a bright, accomplished woman who spurns any interaction with those around her. She makes peace with the hermetic life she's constructed until, well into her thirties, she falls in love for the first time. And suddenly, once again, the family's world is tilted on its axis. Compassionate yet unflinchingly honest, witty and almost painfully astute, The Condition explores the power of family mythologies, the self-delusions, denials, and inescapable truths that forever bind fathers and mothers and siblings. |
