Who's your favorite comic book hero and Why?
You can name more than one if you like, but remember to include why you like them. Note that your choice doesn't necessarily have to be a superhero either.
I'll start.
I have MANY favorites but I'll pare it down to one: Spider-Man.
I like the ol' web-head because of his power level (he's certainly superhuman but isn't a world-shaker and he can be hurt or even killed - that makes for good drama), his personality (a well-meaning, genuinely good guy who can wisecrack with the best of 'em) and because he has what's probably the best rogues gallery in comics.
X-23 because she was made to believe she was Dirt and nothing more than a Weapon witch lead her to becoming one of the Greatest Serial Killers Ever, but escaped from the people who created her, only to have Heroes, Villains, Governments and the whole world after her when she doesn't want to be the villain any more she just wants to live normal or be able to help others to make up for all the people she has killed, she seems cold blood but isn't because she cuts herself ever time she feels she has killed some one innocent, because she has always pushed her feels away or ignore them, I like her because of how she is try learn how to now handel and deal with the Emotions she had buried when she believed she was nothing more than a Robot Serial Killer. I get really into her dealing with all her Emotions, and the fact she is a bad good girl since she use to be a villain. who likes guns and explosives, has much as using her Wolverine claws and knows lots of poisons. In some ways she seems more like the Punisher than Wolverine to me. that is why I like her thought, I like seeing her deal with all her problems and facing her sad life that in some ways is worse than Wolverine's.
Supergirl - because she is a Bratty, Sassy, SmatMouth, Rebellious Teenager with a Heart of Gold that gets in to and causes lots of trouble for everyone,
The Question - Because well because watch this and you will understand
also because he has no Superpowers or Money and the Only weapons he uses is Psychology and sometimes his tie because he is more resourceful than most hero's and can make pretty much anything around or near him a weapon. Also because He may even be a better Detective then Batman. its just Bats has Money, toys and a computer that Q doesn't have Access too witch is why I like him more because he doesn't need it to fight evil.
Green Arrow - cause he is a Realistic superhero who doesn't care about being a hero or not, has long has it keeps him alive and helps the poor man, and gives his option weather you want to here it or not. these are why I like him over batman,cause he wants to help the little man who he believes Big time Superheros (Batman) forget about. plus he likes to annoy batman by saying he is better even though he knows he isn't. Personally I think he likes playing jokes on the league in general but has the most fun with Batman, but in a fight he is always dead serious most of the time. but still cares more about the little guys then the good for nothing fat cat. (Like Oliver Queen and Bruce Wayne.) Also i like GA cause he doesn't want to deal with Supervillian's he is more concerned about Issues like the Drug problem, Small Time Theft where the guy is more like to get a way cause it goes unnoticed and the cops don't to much but report it. Gangs ect... but I do love archery and seeing him fight supervillian's too.

Shaker $15.18 When one looks back at David Johansen's body of work, it's not difficult to get the feeling you're watching an actor who has slipped in and out of a number of character roles over the years; there was the trashy glam punk libertine of his New York Dolls days, the swaggering hard rock belter on his '70s and '80s solo albums, the over-the-top devotee of vintage-nightclub sounds known as Buster Poindexter, and now the grizzled bluesman who cuts pared-to-the bone acoustic sessions with his band the Harry Smiths. Shaker is Johansen's second album with the Harry Smiths, and the set list is comprised of vintage country blues classics made famous by the likes of Son House, Mississippi John Hurt, and Charley Patton (one notable exception: "My Morphine" by Gillian Welch, which fits in seamlessly into the mix). As with much of his material from the past, the theatricality of Johansen's performance is certainly evident here, though given the purposefully sparse musical arrangements of his band, it stands out in a different degree of relief; Johansen avoids an overtone of minstrelsy as he assumes the role of an aging bluesman, but ultimately he sound like an actor on-stage giving a performance as a bluesman rather than the vintage blues singer himself. That's not to say, though, that Johansen doesn't find something pure and honest in these songs; he's always been a con brio performer, and if his touch is sometimes broad, it's also passionate and sensitive, and he doesn't over-play so much as give a dramatic reading that would befit an actor who must balance restraint with the need to communicate with the last row of the balcony. The result is a collection that honors the tenor of the classic country blues recordings while adding a tone that is pure David Johansen, and not only is his delivery strong and compelling, but his voice is more supple than it has been in years, while his musicians back him up with subtle fire.
