Taurus Sho

Will a 32valve V8 SHO fit in my 01 Taurus?

I know they put them in the Taurus SHO model. This came up when i asked a guy if i could bore out my insisting 3L V6 and then i found a SHO engine for less it comes with the tranny and everything and its going to cost less than boring out my engine but here comes my question. Will if fit in my 01 Taurus?

Yes, it will fit, but you'll need the engine, transmission, radiator, and all the wiring/computer from the SHO.

They called the newer Taurus like you have "next generation", but they were still basically the same car....just a bit of restyling.

There have only been 2 REAL redesigns of the Taurus: 1996 and 2008. And 2008 wasn't a redesign, they just renamed the 500 the Taurus. But the car was completely different, as was the '96 compared to the '95.
