Very Good

Does anyone know a Very good recipe for delicious apple flapjacks!?

Im looking for a good recipe for apple flapjacks for my children! they get very hungry when they are busy playing on there dance mat! It will be highly appreciated and as always 10 points up for grabs for the best answer

English Flapjack
40 min 5 min prep
Change to: pieces US Metric
6 ounces butter
8 ounces rolled oats (quick cooking)
6 ounces brown sugar
1 pinch salt

1. Melt butter in saucepan over very gentle heat.Mix in the sugar, oats and salt.Stir well and turn mixture into greased swiss roll tin and press lightly together.
2. Smooth top surface with the back of a metal spoon and bake at 190C for 30-35 mins in centre of oven.
3. When golden brown remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before cutting into square slices.
4. Cool completely before serving.
